Monica Scoutten isn’t one to shy away from a challenge—whether it’s hiking rugged trails, raising four kids, or navigating one of the toughest real estate markets in history.

She launched her real estate career in 2007, just as the housing market began to collapse. “Nothing comes easy,” Monica says. “Success takes discipline and hard work.” 

A true Northwest native, Monica was raised in Tacoma and has an intimate knowledge of the surrounding towns and neighborhoods. She understands the unique character and lifestyle each community offers, and she brings that insight to every client she serves.

From 2018 to 2021, Monica took a step back from real estate to support her family as her husband's career brought them across the pond to the UK. During that time, she embraced the adventure of living abroad and gained a fresh global perspective.

Returning to the U.S. just as the world was navigating the uncertainty of COVID, Monica found herself looking at her real estate career through a new lens. The pause had offered her something rare: time to reflect, refine, and rediscover her "why."

What she kept coming back to was simple—people. For Monica, real estate has never been just about buying or selling houses. It’s about building relationships and guiding clients through what is often the most significant investment of their lives. She considers that responsibility an honor and never takes it lightly.
